Marie Moran, Founder

Ms. Moran is a recognized consultant, speaker and workshop leader in the fields of executive presence, leadership, presentation skills and personal growth. Her career in leadership development and executive coaching began in 1981, making her both a pioneer and veteran in the field. She is known nationwide for her signature workshop Power of Your Presence. Over the last 10 years she has developed innovative change services for leaders, individuals and teams under her new Recharge & Renewal® brand.
Prior to forming Marie Moran & Company in January 2002, Marie was the CEO of Impact Training Associates, Inc. for 21 years. In this capacity, she gained extensive business operations experience managing this multifaceted training and consulting organization, with both domestic and international operations and an extraordinarily diverse client and consultant base.
As a seasoned business person, coach, workshop designer and facilitator, Ms. Moran tailors her principle-based accelerated learning approach to the requirements of each client. Her client roster includes executives and audiences at Fortune 500 companies throughout the U.S. Her workshop graduates span a multitude of industries and functions – including Banking, Restaurants, Real Estate, Entertainment, Manufacturing, Health Care and Pharmaceuticals. She has a special passion for developing leaders, and facilitating the growth process of individuals who are facing imminent transitions in life and career. She has developed and copyrighted a unique 7D Model, which forms the foundation for her work to assist people to navigate transition.
Ms. Moran received her B.A. from Antioch University, where she majored in Human Development with a minor in Voice. Her post-graduate studies include certifications in Interpersonal Communications and Job Person Matching technology.
Personally, Marie is passionate about the arts and the ocean. She is an avid scuba diver and animal lover, trained in modern dance and movement, and is an experienced entertainer and night club singer. She is also an amateur landscape photographer, particularly drawn to capturing images of the majestic beauty of the Southwest U.S. and Baja, Mexico.

Linda Yort
Linda Yort is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) through the International Coach Federation with over 20 years of experience in creating coaching strategies and activities for business professionals. Linda’s specialty is working one-on-one with executives to prepare for career advancement by enhancing leadership effectiveness.
Linda holds an M.A. in Counseling. With an extensive background in human resources, sales and marketing, Linda is highly effective in corporate environments as a trainer, coach, facilitator and mentor. She is a Certified Executive Coach for the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), where she has served as Feedback Coach and Adjunct Faculty member since 1987. She is also part of CCL’s Leadership Development Program, Women’s Leadership Program, Foundations of Leadership Program, the week long Looking Glass Experience and numerous Custom Programs.
As a professional coach, her impressive credentials include a seat on the Credentialing Committee for the International Coach Federation. Linda’s other affiliations have included the Executive Coaching Summit, the American Society of Training & Development, the Professional & Personal Coaches Association, and the Professional Coaches & Mentors Association.
Linda currently heads up the coaching division of Marie Moran & Company, and provides direction and thought leadership for the continued improvement of our executive coaching practice. |
Eric Snyder
Eric Snyder is an experienced organizational development consultant, with an extensive background in training plus facilitation of senior leader off sites and strategy sessions. As a part of the Marie Moran & Company staff, he conducts Team Assessments, Team Building Workshops and off sites, Executive Coaching and 360 Surveys, as well as facilitating Senior Leader Strategy Sessions. He also works closely with our Life Coaching clients who desire career coaching assistance. He is expert at Interviewing Skills Workshops and Coaching.
Prior to joining Marie Moran & Company, Eric was Vice President, Corporate Human Resources and Organizational Development for DFS Group Limited, a retailer with domestic and international operations. There he provided organizational leadership, facilitation and consultation to company executives and managers on goal setting, strategic implementation and business issues. Prior to DFS, he was the Director of Training and Organizational Development at Mervyn’s. Eric has spearheaded business process reengineering efforts to deliver greater operational efficiencies. He has also led company-wide change initiatives around customer service and technology-based pipeline management.
Eric has an intuitive approach which complements his upfront manner in guiding leaders to realize their full potential. He uses a down-to-earth, practical style, engaging his clients through the power of listening. He taps into their personal and professional objectives to maximize individual capabilities and performance. He is an expert in 360 feedback tools.
Having served as a senior leader, Eric understands how to navigate in the climate of today’s complex corporate environments. That experience allows him to offer a balanced perspective when delivering feedback with those he coaches.
Eric received his Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA, and was an Army ROTC Distinguished Military Graduate. He has a track record in community service, having served as Vice Chair, Development and Chair, Committee on Directors during his four years as a member of the board of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. He was also a board member for the Asian Business League. |
Stanlee Phelps
Stanlee is a nationally known executive coach with over 16 years of experience working with mid to C-level executives in Fortune 500 companies. Stanlee’s particular areas of expertise are executive assessment, assertive communications and leadership development for high potential individuals in both the public and private sectors.
Stanlee holds a Master’s Degree in Behavioral Sciences from Louisiana State University. She has served as President of Women in Business and as an advisor for the Graduate School of Management’s Mentoring Program at the University of California, Irvine. She has also held teaching and advisory board positions at both university and community colleges. Stanlee is Certified as a Master Facilitator with Management Research Group, Inc., developer of Personal Directions®, a powerful assessment process for professional and personal development. She is co-author (with Nancy Austin) of the best selling book, The Assertive Woman, now in its Fourth Edition. And she is an active member of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association.
Stanlee brings to each Marie Moran & Company coaching assignment a deep understanding of the human dynamics within today’s large corporations. Her organizational savvy and years of professional experience—combined with a warm, inspirational coaching style—make Stanlee a sought-after resource to both experienced and up-and-coming leaders.

Leslie Carver
Leslie is one of our senior workshop leaders and one-on-one coaches. She also facilitates the Power of Your Presence workshops and customized programs in Interpersonal Communications, Presentation Skills, Interviewing, Change Management and Leadership Development. She is passionate about assisting employees to develop and maintain effective relationships in the workplace.
Leslie's background includes eleven years in a management role in the computer industry. During her tenure in the information technology field, Leslie gained a wealth of practical management experience and coached employees in leadership, project management, and interpersonal skills.
Leslie has an M.S. in Career Development from California State University at Northridge and a B.A. in French from the State University of New York at Binghamton.

Gail Green
Gail is a nationally-acclaimed trainer, speaker and consultant, who has worked with thousands of individuals since 1981 with her practical and innovative approach to learning. Her highly interactive style provides an opportunity to accelerate the learning process and assimilate new behaviors quickly.
Gail facilitates and designs training programs in the areas of Leadership Development, Executive Presence, Interpersonal Communications, Stress Management, Customer Service, and Team Building. In addition, Ms. Green offers lively keynote presentations in the areas of personal power, lifestyle balance, and accelerated change.
Gail's formal educational background includes a B.A. from California State University, Los Angeles, where she majored in Psychology. She has also attended Santa Monica College where she studied communications, voice, and theater.

Sharon McKenzie
Sharon McKenzie is a dynamic workshop presenter and provider of one-on-one coaching. Her specific areas of expertise include Stress Management, Interpersonal Communications, Conflict Management, Team Effectiveness, Self Expression, Personal Balance and Alignment. Her passion is working with clients to develop character and their unique individuality, and how to make that work with effectiveness and ease. She is one of the lead facilitators at Marie Moran & Company in our Beauty Works spa services.
Sharon's educational background includes a B.A. in Psychology from Antioch University, with extensive post-graduate studies in Human Development and Accelerated Learning. She has also studied Voice and Acting, and appeared on stage in numerous community productions. She brings an energetic, expressive and vivacious presentation style to all her workshop and team programs. |
