Harris Hunt joins the MMCo International Initiatives consulting team with over 25 years of experience in global business development. Having specialized in the software industry, Harris brings to MMCo an extensive leadership background in enterprises at all stages of business development – from start-up stage to large and fully established. Throughout his career, Harris has held global responsibilities, traveling and conducting business extensively in Europe and Asia, managing international staff, and leveraging offshore development teams. He is highly-regarded for his sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to adapt his approach to fit differing work teams and market places.
With his unique blend of business acumen and technical expertise, Harris understands how to effectively develop and bring new products to market. He is an accomplished change agent, as well as an expert in SaaS (Software as a Service), and he has a notable track record as a passionate champion for innovative products. As a seasoned Consultant and Executive Coach for MMCo’s International Initiatives Division, Harris assists clients with all aspects of building the “human” software and positioning their products and brands globally. He provides guidance on establishing strategic global initiatives, product development, go-to-market, partnership development, and sales enablement abroad.
Harris received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. Recruited by an innovative software startup, he held various leadership roles as the firm grew, expanded internationally, and went public. He then joined FileNet where he was responsible for International Product Marketing. Harris later served as Senior Director of Global Product Management for Yahoo! Search Marketing, and for eight years was Vice President of Product Management for Experian Consumer Services.
In addition to his extensive global business travel, in his personal time Harris has visited over 25 countries and explored the length of the Rhine River. His stateside adventures include a cycling tour from Seattle, Washington to Fairbanks, Alaska, and scaling Mount Hood. Harris currently resides in Southern California. He is an active contributor to OCTANe, a non-profit organization that works with universities, entrepreneurs, business experts, and investors to assist enterprise growth in Orange County, California.
